• To run WinEst you need a personal computer running Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000 or Windows NT.
• You need a hard disk with at least 20 MB of free space to install WinEst, sometimes more if you purchased more than one database or if you purchased a large database like the RS Means Facilities database.
• WinEst uses about 128 MB of random-access memory (RAM) when running. Since Windows 95/98 or Windows NT need more memory than this, if you can run Windows, you can run WinEst.
• WinEst works best with a SVGA or higher resolution monitor. While the program will run on lower-resolution monitors, the visual appearance is unimpressive. For the best results, stick to a SVGA or better display.
• You need a Windows 98, 2000, ME, XP or NT compatible mouse.
• WinEst prints to any printer supported by Windowsr or Windows NT. For best results, select a printer with at least letter-quality output.
