This system is simple to operate and allows you to produce a Bid in a similar way to hand written pricing sheets, but is only as good as the estimator using it.

Master Database

• The Master Database contains all the items of materials together with their associated install rates in hours or fractions of an hour. This database can be tailored to suit your particular trade or business.
• You can sectionalise the database to keep your material categories in a logical order, apply trade discounts and include either Sales Tax or Goods and Services Tax.
• You can import suppliers price lists on disk straight into the Masterdatabase.

Estimate Sheets

• You can sectionalise your estimate take off with as many sections as you wish. This keeps your estimate simple and easy to follow and check.
• From within your estimate section you simply select an item from the master database, paste it in and give it a quantity.
• You can modify that item to suit your particular needs without changing the original item in the master database, add a new item or add a comment in order to document your estimate.
• You can make up groups of items called "Assemblies" which you can paste in a block. This can save you lots of time.
• You can produce Schedule rates of either individual items or groups of items.
• Other facilities include the ability to copy whole blocks of data from previous estimates and to export data to Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

Tender Front Sheet

• Produce either a simple or more advanced front sheet with all your additional operating costs such as plant and equipment, non-productive time, supervision, overhead recovery and profit. Produce a break up sheet showing the selling price of each estimate section.

Reports

• You can produce many types of reports, for example;
• Total similar items will find all similar items in the estimate and display them as totals. When you receive a quoted price for the item, you double click the material cost and enter the new price. The system will seek every item of that type and change the price.
• Find problem lines. If you forget to enter a quantity, or material price or labour rate, then the system will display these lines for you to check and modify if necessary. No longer will you win a tender with the help of items not priced.
